Pregnant Food

The idea behind this is so amazingly brilliant and yet the execution left much to be desired. I'm pregnant and will eat almost anything. This picture looks better than the sandwich actually was, much to my disappointment. This was at The Great Steak and Potato Company at Arundel Mills. The cheese steak part of the sandwich was good, but it wasn't the best I've ever had. The mac and cheese part was cheap mac and cheese, like out of a box. Glory Days' Mac 'n Cheeseburger is soooo much better because a) their meat is USDA Choice (which is the #2 grade of meat, Prime being #1 and they will swap out the patties for you and give you Prime for a slight upcharge) and b) their mac and cheese is literally to die for. It's more grown up mac and cheese, it's not something all of the kids like because of how rich it is, but it is OMG-good for adults. Crazy awful for you in calories alone, but if you ignore that and live in denial for your dinner, it's nothing you'll regret later ;)

The good thing that came out of this was the idea of what I'll be getting the next time I go to Glory Days: Philly cheesesteak with a side of mac 'n cheese and make my own version of Great Steak's lame sandwich.
