More Good Times

Today was awesome. I spent the morning watching Lost and knitting Cheryl's mittens. Then I headed to Target and got stuff to hang pictures as the house, as well as some towel racks for the bathroom. I spent the afternoon hanging pictures while waiting for Dan to finish at karate.

This is in the kitchen. The frames on the right all have wedding pictures and the pictures up top are me, Dan, and friends. I have to go back to Target and get more sticky things to hang the rest of the pictures that I have, but so far I'm really happy with what I have up.

This is my favorite set. They're above the door in the kitchen and they fit perfectly. I love that they're in a place where I'll see them all the time.

This was by far my favorite purchase at Target. It's a faucet cover for the bathtub and it's awesome!

By the time I was done at the house, Dan was finished at karate and we headed over to Lowe's to pick out carpet for the house. We were going to put laminate down, but it was waaaay more expensive than we budgeted for, so we switched to carpet. Carpet is about half the price, which means we actually come out ahead of what we had in the budget. While we were at Lowe's, we also picked up some heavy-duty shelves to put in the laundry room and went over to the house to put them together.

For dinner, we met Steve and Ashleigh at Cheeseburger in Paradise (which is not my favorite restaurant, mostly because of their service record with us, but the food is decent) and spent a good 3 hours talking and catching up! I love hanging out with them, we're so blessed to have them for friends :)
